The Sexiest Man He's Ever Met Is Supposed To Be His Enemy And Not His Mate- Protecting His Alien Mate by Clare Dargin #MM #MPreg #EroticRomance

Blurb:

Damian Shepard is no ordinary prison guard. He's a Solarian, an alien race that sought refuge on Earth over a century ago. They live peacefully and anonymously among humanity and prefer to live in the towns they have founded. Because they live longer and are stronger than humans, they’ve created their own system of justice designed specifically to punish members of their race who have committed crimes.

Shunned by his family for being gay, all Fletcher Voglar wants is a happily-ever-after with a sexy man who loves him. But when he is wrongfully sent to prison by a corrupt official, Fletcher gives up his dreams of having a life filled with love and happiness. One day Damian stumbles upon Fletcher during a routine check of the prisoners where he works. Instantly he knows that the frail yet beautiful human is his destined mate. Finding a mate is one thing but when that perfect man turns out to be an inmate at the prison where he works, Damian’s world is turned upside down.

But when the opportunity arises to get his mate out of there, Damian jumps at it. The crooked Solarians who threw Fletcher in prison are now after Damian too, and they won't stop until they’re both dead. Can Damian win Fletcher's heart and clear their names or will their enemies kill them before Damian gets a chance?

Excerpt:

“My little sub, on your knees,” Damian said.

In one graceful move, Fletcher obeyed.

“Take everything off, pet.”

Fletcher winked as he slowly undressed. “I don't see why I bother to wear clothes around you, I end up taking them off anyway.”

“Silence, little mate,” Damian said.

“Why do I have to be quiet now? You seem to like the way I make noise in the bedroom.”

Damian chuckled. His little mate's cheeky nature was cute and sweet but very naughty.

“You have now earned your first spanking,” Damian said.

Fletcher mouth hung open and his eyes were wide.

“Why so surprised? You knowingly defied me.”

“I didn't think you were actually going to do anything.”

“You thought wrong.” Damian patted his lap. “Over my legs, ass up.”

Fletcher screwed his mouth into a crooked line.

“Do I need to repeat myself?” Damian asked in a stern, controlled voice.

Fletcher said rolling his eyes. “No, sir.”

“Then place yourself over my lap.”

Damian lifted his hands out of the way as Fletcher lay down over his thighs. It wasn’t graceful, but it got the job done. He had no doubt in time Fletcher would able to do it without fumbling around since Fletcher was a bit bratty.

“I want you to count. I believe ten swats will be sufficient punishment.”

“Yes, sir.”

Damian’s dick hardened. He closed his eyes and concentrated. This was all too exciting. Every inch of his dominant nature was being satisfied.

“You need to pick a safe word. It's a code word to get me to stop if I take things too far.”

“Sir, I have the word I want,” Fletcher said.

“What is it?”

“Velvet.”

“Are you certain this is the word you want to use?” Damian asked amused. He expected the word red or something close to it. Leave it to Fletcher to choose such a gentle and soft word.

“Yes, I'm sure.”
“Then velvet it is.” Damian rubbed the globes of his ass with his large, calloused hands. Damian growled then exhaled a long breath.

“This is not meant to hurt you but to teach you a lesson. If this becomes too much, I want you to tell me. Do not say the word stop. Use your safe word.”

“Yes sir.” Fletcher said.

“Because of your brattiness, you will receive ten strikes. You will count them out, is that clear?”

“Yes, Master.”

“I am not a tyrant. Nevertheless, I am your Dominant so you will respect me as such.”

Damian placed one of his hands on the center of Fletcher's back and ran his other hand over the twin pale globes situated right in front of him. Fletcher's ass was perfectly rounded and curved. After one smack, as the imprint of his hand came up in a nice rosy tint, Fletcher hissed, then his dick sprung to life.

Naval Maneuvers by Dee S. Knight-They Find Love While In And Out of Uniform With Officers and Some Hot Gentlemen #Military #EroticRomance

Blurb:

Men and women of the armed forces experience desire and love pretty much like everyone else. Except, well, there is that uniform. And the hard-to-resist attraction of "duty, honor, service" as a man might apply them to a woman's pleasure. All things considered, romance among the military is a pretty sexy, compelling force for which you'd better be armed, whether weighing anchor and moving forward into desire, dropping anchor and staying put for passion, or setting a course for renewed love with anchor home.

Individual blurbs: (the book is in three parts)

Weighing Anchor (allowing a ship to move forward by retrieving the anchor): A professional woman sworn to avoiding all things military finds herself in love with a lieutenant commander in the Navy. Love won't conquer all if she allows her childhood memories to eclipse future happiness.

Dropping Anchor (securing movement by dropping the anchor): Two people find (surprisingly) that they are both in the Navy and love their chosen professions—until one turns out to be an officer but not a gentleman and the other is a gentleman but not an officer.

Anchor Home (safe, smooth sailing): When two former lovers find each other after more than a decade, will a long-hidden secret threaten the course of a rekindled romance or be the cause of it?

Excerpt:

"And what is your name, pretty?" Mel Crandall addressed the dinosaur bones in an undertone, bending nearly to face level. The skeleton displayed an open mouth and rows of fierce, sharp teeth.

"Roger," a man standing next to her said in a low voice. Startled, she looked up. Up being the operative word. She stood a decent five feet ten inches, and he beat her by a good half foot. She studied him. He ignored her.

The guy had a solid profile, strong chin, chiseled cheekbones, and a straight back with muscular shoulders. Short brown hair. He wore glasses and stared straight ahead, but glasses couldn't disguise the laugh lines that radiated from the corners of his eyes. His posture was near perfect and he was not overweight, as evidenced by the trim fit of his jeans and red polo shirt that clung enough to give evidence of a low body/mass index number.

As a doctor, she immediately noticed body characteristics before actual looks. But with this guy, examination in lieu of admiration was hard. Men were often put off by the fact that she paid attention to whether they looked sallow or flushed, or if their hands were cold or warm before she "saw" them. She noticed if a man's eyes were dilated or glittered with fever before she registered eye color. Dates started with mini examinations before she relaxed enough to enjoy personalities, but that's just the way she was. Men had to take it or leave it. Sadly, most left it. Which was why she talked to dinosaurs at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History all on her own.

Mel moved on to the next exhibit, a shorter built specimen but still tall and with a nasty spiked tail. "I wonder what you looked like," she murmured. "What color were you, what did you eat, and what's your name?"

She bent to read the exhibit information. "Gray. Grass."

That same guy had followed her. Rather than having a strong profile, she was beginning to think he was a weirdo.

"Annnd, roger."

Quickly, Mel moved to the next exhibit. "And you are–"

"Roger."

He stood beside her again! Mel started to look for a museum guard but saw none. Great. Planting her hands on her hips, she turned to him. "Stop following me," she said loudly enough that people in the general area turned to see what was happening.

The guy said, "Hold it."

Hold it? Hold it, as in "Wait a minute, little lady?" She opened her mouth to lay into him when he turned and removed his glasses, showing her the richest, most chocolatey brown eyes she'd ever seen. The words stuck in her mouth.

"I'm sorry, what?"

In a lower voice she said, "You're following me from exhibit to exhibit and talking to me. I want you to stop."

"I didn't realize…" He wiggled the glasses at her. "I'm working here and I'm afraid I didn't notice you."

Well. What was worse, that he was a pervert following her place to place, or that he wasn't a perv and hadn't even noticed her?

His brow furrowed while he studied her. "Yes. Yes." Then he shook his head. "Roger."

Again with that Roger.

"Gotta go. Later." Then he smiled at her. "Just a minute, okay?" He folded the glasses and put them first in a protective case. Squatting, he placed a briefcase on the floor and opened it. He stored the glass case inside a pocket. Then he removed something from his right ear—an earbud?—protected it and also put it in the case.

Mel watched all of this with curiosity. He expected her to wait for him? What arrogance. And yet, wait she did. When he stood, holding the case in his left hand and smiled once more, her heart stuttered. The guy was drop dead gorgeous—at least to her understanding of the word. Normally, she appreciated the male form, mostly from a medical viewpoint. This man she enjoyed with pure pleasure.

And Good God. He hadn't been talking to her, he'd been talking to whoever was on the other end of that earbud. Embarrassment flooded her.

"I'm sorry," she said. "I thought you were…" She slid her hand between the two of them and then to the exhibits.

"No," he said. "I apologize. I shouldn't be testing this stuff around people. The last time I did it a kid thought I was calling him Roger."

His voice had a soft drawl to it. Western Virginia or North Carolina, maybe? Somewhere in the mountains. It felt like a cool stream as it ran over a body hot and tired from hiking: refreshing and invigorating, at the same time soothing and relaxing. She wanted him to talk more.

Stop that! She laughed. "I thought you were naming each dinosaur."

He smiled and dimples indented his cheeks. His eyes crinkled and Mel's breath caught. This guy should come with a warning label. Approach with caution. Could bring on lustful intentions and ultimately, broken hearts. Take only in small doses and in public places.

He held out his hand. "David Stimson."

She took it gingerly, half expecting lightning to bolt between them. Nope. Nothing. So much for romance novels. He had a nice hand, large and warm with healthy pink nails, and she grasped it firmly. "Melissa Crandall."

"Nice to meet you. Do you mind if I wander along with you?" Grasping the briefcase with his left hand, he deftly, he moved to the left of her.

"No, please. It's a free country." She walked to the next dinosaur re-creation. "And this one is…" She half waited for his pronouncement.

"Not Roger," he said, stopping her heart with that killer smile again. He leaned over to read the information. "Torosaurus latus. It says here that these bones were dug up in North Dakota, but that the Torosaurus roamed from Canada to Texas, and that he had the biggest head of any land mammal."

"Well, I guess that's something to be proud of," Mel responded. David laughed and she found herself smiling back. When she moved to the next exhibit, he strolled along with her, hands behind his back.
He pointed to the next specimen. "Poor guy. Starved to death."

"Oh, yeah? How do you know?"

"Can't you tell? He's all bones."

[ Excerpt ]

Jade caught a scent of a human as she entered the fourteen-story building in downtown Snowfall.  It wasn’t just any human scent, but something that made all of her instincts flare.  She knew that she’d never caught this particular scent before, but something told her that this human might be important to her.  She tried to brush it off as quickly as the thought came, but she couldn’t find it coincidental she smelled it in the same steel building owned by Ghost and housed the headquarters of Dark Company.

As she dismissed the fleeting thought of searching for the scent, her heart thumped once, hard, in her chest at the thought of not finding its owner.  She forced herself to walk toward the elevator bank, ignoring the unwanted perusals she received from the men in the lobby.  Even in an unassuming hoodie and black yoga pants, she drew unwanted attention.  A side effect of being an immortal.
The elevator opened as soon as she pressed the up-button and she kept her gaze down as she walked into the elevator.  She entered the code to get to Ghost’s private floor, her movements too quick to be caught by the human eye, before she squeezed into the corner.  Jade used her other senses as three men in suits and two women entered the enclosed space with her.  There was no need to glance at the glass interior that covered the back wall to see what she looked like.

She sensed eyes on her.  Instead of searching out the gaze, she whipped her long, straight dyed black hair into a bun on the back of her head with quick movements before sneaking her hands into the front pockets of her hoodie.

Jade waited patiently as the car traveled toward the penthouse, her ultimate destination, but she couldn’t help but try to find the intriguing scent from earlier.

After my meeting.

All she knew was he hadn’t used the particular elevator she was in and the higher the lift took her in the building, the more his scent dissipated.

In her entire existence, or what she remembered of it, she’d never been attracted to…anyone.  She’d never felt the pull to find someone either.  But lately, she’d felt increasingly restless whenever she had any downtime and her skin tingled in a way that had nothing to do with signaling immediate danger.  It was as though her body tried to convey something she didn’t understand.

Her thoughts were interrupted when a man who had gotten into the elevator with her on the first floor stepped into her personal space.

“Hey, beautiful?”

Jade rolled her eyes and raised her head to glare at the man.  Of course, he wouldn’t take the hint that she wanted to be left alone.  To emphasize the point, she crossed her arms and leaned against the wall, moving away from his intrusion.

The man decided to take this as an invitation and moved to wrap his arm around her waist.  The move gave her a clear shot to his ribs and she took it, gently moving her elbow back and making contact.  She flinched when she heard a distinctive crack, realizing she hadn’t been careful enough.  Before she could apologize, the elevator door opened and he ran off without looking back, holding onto his side.
She sighed.

Earning Her Trust And Her Love Will Be Their Most Rewarding Mission Of All- Stormy Desire by Leah Brooke #RomanceNovel #BDSM #Menage

[Siren Menage Everlasting: Erotic Contemporary Consensual BDSM Menage a Quatre Romantic Suspense, M/F/M/M, HEA]

Stormy James had spent her entire life avoiding Desire, Oklahoma, a town where Dominant, chauvinistic men ruled. As a private investigator, she knew how to take care of herself, but when a case turned deadly, she found herself on the run, and heading toward Desire, and her brother, Logan James, the only man she trusted.

Lucas Hart, Devlin Monroe, and Caleb Ward had been friends with Logan for years, and readily jumped into action to rescue his sister. It didn’t take long for them to realize that she was more to them than just a client, and keeping their emotional distance proved impossible.

Stormy's decision to leave Desire as soon as possible made convincing her to stay even more urgent. Earning the trust of a woman who feared and hated men because of past sexual abuse proved a greater challenge than they’d ever faced.

But, earning her trust, and her love, would be their most rewarding mission of all.

A Siren Erotic Romance

----

STORY EXCERPT

Sounding distracted, Stormy sighed. “Logan, listen. This guy’s dangerous, and I don’t want you to mess with him. If something happens to me, give the file to that sheriff you trust so much.”

“Stormy, I—”

“I’ve got this, Logan.”

Logan jumped to his feet a split second before Lucas did. “Bullshit!”

“Logan, stay out of it. I’m a big girl and have been handling myself for a long time. Can you assure me that the cop you trust so much can’t be bought?”

Logan smiled and looked at Ace. “As a matter of fact, I can. Ace is sitting here with me now and has already seen the pictures. Lucas, Devlin, and Caleb are here, too.”

Stormy paused, but the sound of her engine sped up, the wind blowing adding to the noise and telling Lucas that they hadn’t lost the connection. “Those friends of yours with the security company? What the hell did you do, Logan? Tell the entire town?”

Lucas frowned at the stress in her tone, something she obviously tried very hard to hide from her brother.

Logan rose again, scraping his hand through his hair, his frustration obvious. “No. I told my friends, who are almost as worried about you as I am. They want to help.”

“I can imagine. You and that town full of Neanderthals are probably chomping at the bit to help a damsel in distress. I’ve got news for you, big brother. I’m no damsel in distress. Not anymore. That sheriff you told me about?”

“What about him?”

“You really trust him?”

Logan took a steadying breath and looked directly at Ace. “With my life and, more importantly, with yours.”

“Got her.” Caleb blew out a breath, turning the laptop around so Lucas, Logan, and Ace could see it. “She’s on the outskirts of Tulsa.”

“What?” Stormy’s voice held a hint of panic that sent a chill of alarm to Lucas’s gut. “You’re tracking me? Damn it, Logan. Do you have me on speaker phone?”

“You’re damned right I do! I need all the help I can get with you. Damn it, honey. What the hell have you gotten yourself into?”

Patting Logan’s back, Lucas rose, bending low to speak into the phone. “Head for Desire. We’ll meet you.”

“Logan, tell your friend to kiss my ass. I’m flying right through Tulsa and—”

Picking up the phone, Lucas gritted his teeth and headed outside. “This is Lucas Hart. Head to Desire. We’re coming to get you. If you have people after you, you’ll be safer here.”

Aware that everyone followed him out and listened to his conversation, Lucas headed toward his SUV, motioning for Devlin to drive while Caleb watched Stormy’s progress on the computer screen.

“Listen, whoever you are, I—”

Lucas climbed into the back seat with Logan while Devlin slid behind the wheel and Caleb jumped into the front passenger seat, settling his laptop on his lap. “I already told you who I am. Lucas. Lucas Hart. I’m a friend of Logan’s, and I can keep you safe. Turn left at the next intersection.”

“I’m hanging up.”

Logan grabbed his phone back. “Don’t you dare!”

Devlin glanced back at Logan, his eyes hard and cold, his voice laced with fear. “Your sister’s in need of a good spanking.”

Logan’s eyes narrowed briefly on Devlin’s, the sadness and remembered terror in them unnerving Lucas. “She’s been through enough.”

“Logan!”

Logan jolted at his sister’s voice, blinking once, his lips thinning. “We’re on our way to you. Follow the signs for Desire. You’re gonna be on a long two-lane road, lined with trees. We’ll meet you on that road.”

“Logan, I’m not bringing trouble to your beloved town, and I’m certainly not bringing it to you.”

Although aware that Caleb already had Ace on the car speaker, Lucas focused on Logan’s conversation with Stormy.

Ace remained silent, obviously listening to the conversation between brother and sister along with everyone else.

Uneasy that the tension in her voice increased each time she spoke, Lucas shared a look with Caleb, leaning closer to speak into Logan’s phone. “What’s wrong?”

“I don’t know what—”

Lucas clenched his jaw. “Don’t tell me you don’t know what I’m talking about! I can hear it in your voice. Something’s changed in the last few seconds. What is it?”

The silence lasted several heartbeats, allowing them to hear Stormy’s breath catch and the squeal of tires. “They found me. Logan, let your cop handle it.”

Logan paled again. “You’re talking about the guy in the picture?”

Another silence followed, and impatient with her, Lucas snapped. “Talk. Is it the guy in the picture?”

“No. It’s not Sam Kline. Uh, Logan?”

“Yeah, honey?”

Caleb turned to Lucas. “She’s coming up to the turn.”

Logan gripped the phone tighter, his knuckles turning white. “Turn left, honey.”

“Before I do, Logan, there’s something I have to tell you that might change your mind.”

“Nothing will. Turn, Stormy, and step on the gas.”

“Okay. I turned. Damn it, Logan. You have no idea what kind of trouble I’m bringing with me.”

Logan swallowed heavily. “Tell me.”

“Sam Kline put a contract on me.”

“What?”

“Shit.” The unmistakable sound of gunfire and squealing tires tightened Lucas’s gut.

“Yeah. He wants me dead, Logan, so I can’t testify against him—and he’s offered a million dollars to anyone who kills me.”

Lucas shared a look with both Devlin and Caleb, and he could tell they were all thinking the same thing.

Stormy James was in a hell of a lot more trouble than they’d anticipated.

And there was a real possibility that they wouldn’t get to her in time.

ADULT EXCERPT

Lucas slid his hand from her inner thigh to her bottom, his finger gathering her juices and slipping unerringly to her puckered opening. “Now, Stormy.”

It took incredible effort, but she stopped bucking her hips, scared that she would accidentally take Lucas’s finger inside.

Sucking in a breath when he began to apply pressure, Stormy met Devlin’s low chuckle with a glare and turned her attention to Lucas. “Damn it. You would do it, wouldn’t you?”

“In a heartbeat.”

Caleb groaned and moved from between her thighs. “Devlin, hold on to her. I gotta get undressed and put a condom on.”

Devlin grinned. “With pleasure.” Hooking an arm under her other leg, he grinned down at her. “No escape, baby.”

As soon as Caleb moved away, Lucas pulled her other knee back, pressing his fingertip slightly into her. “One.”

Chills raced through her, fear swept aside at the possessive heat in Lucas’s eyes. “Okay. Okay.” Alarmed at her own dark desires, she moaned when another rush of moisture escaped.

Her bottom clenched, the awareness Lucas had awakened there startling.

Mortified that something so naughty and erotic could excite her, she struggled to steady her breathing and keep her ass and pussy from clenching.

Watching a now naked Caleb roll on a condom, Stormy sucked in a breath, a cry escaping when Devlin began to stroke her nipple again.

A light film of perspiration covered her skin, the heat inside her spreading and sizzling just beneath the surface.

Fighting to remain still, she trembled, the threat of Lucas pushing his finger deeper into her ass no longer as frightening.

Lucas ran a thumb over her clit, moving the fingertip inside her in a slow circle, the barrage of sensations so intense she struggled to breathe. “Two.”

Caleb moved between her thighs, poising the head of his cock at her slick entrance. “Talk, Stormy.”

Pushing against Lucas’s and Devlin’s hold on her thighs, Stormy lifted herself in an attempt to get Caleb’s cock inside her, her movement shifting Lucas’s finger inside her in a way that made her bottom hole sting.

Sucking in a breath, Stormy lowered herself again. “Kathy. It was Kathy.”

Lucas slid his finger free, caressing her puckered opening as if he knew that it stung, but it only made her want more attention there. “Your roommate?”

“Yes!” She groaned when Caleb covered her body with his, taking her face between his hands.

Sliding his fingers over her temple, he pushed her damp hair back. “Look at me, Stormy.”

The combination of tenderness and demand in his voice settled the last of her fears, and looking up at him, she smiled to let him know that she wanted it.

“I want you. Take me, Caleb.”

His big body shuddered over hers. “It’s gonna hurt a bit, but I promise that it’ll be over soon. Once I’m inside you, I won’t move until you tell me to. Okay?”

Feeling more confident by the second, she wrapped her now freed legs around him and lifted herself, sucking in a breath when it forced the head of his cock more firmly against her. “I trust you. Just do it. I hate being afraid. Oh!”

The sting brought back a barrage of memories, memories that melted away at the whispered reassurance and gentle hands moving over her.

Her pussy clenched on Caleb’s cock, making her stiffen in expectation of more pain.

His cock felt harder and hotter than she’d expected, but when he kept his promise and remained still, she gradually began to relax.

Instinctively pushing against him, Stormy struggled to adjust to the incredible fullness, relaxing even more when she felt his body tremble with the effort of remaining still.

Caleb crooned to her, his lips brushing her temples. “I won’t move, Stormy. The pain’s over. No more. Now there’s nothing but pleasure.”

Lucas and Devlin each caressed her shoulders, both men watching her, their eyes gleaming with indulgence, affection, and a hunger that left her breathless.

Gripping Caleb’s shoulders, she met his gaze, experimentally clenching on his cock. A moan escaped at the fullness, and her arousal reignited with a vengeance.

Rubbing her feet over his tight ass, she smiled at his groan and hardened features, feeling closer to him than ever. “Move, Caleb.”

Raising himself slightly, he braced himself on his elbows, his lips twitching. “Bossy woman.”

Cupping the back of her head with one large hand, he began to move, watching her intently.

Although aware that both Lucas and Devlin stayed close, Stormy found herself lost in the feel of Caleb.

Strength and heat surrounded her, Caleb’s cock filling her and creating a delicious friction with every smooth stroke.

She felt secure in his firm hold while his gentle caress and sharp attention made her feel cared for in a way that filled her with confidence.

The brief initial pain had become a distant memory as the pleasure continued to build.

Closing her hands on Caleb’s biceps, she lifted into his thrusts, crying out when he began to move faster.

Shifting his weight slightly, he slid a hand under her, lifting her into his thrusts.

Lost in sensation, she moaned in pleasure at the fullness.

At the incredible friction against her inner walls, each stroke of his hot cock sending her closer and closer to the edge.

She’d expected to feel taken and vulnerable, but she hadn’t expected to feel the feminine power at the knowledge that she pleased her lover.

“Careful, Caleb.”

Even though the concern in Lucas’s voice warmed her, Stormy was too close to coming to want Caleb to take it easy.

“No.” Digging her heels into Caleb’s tight butt, she lifted herself, pumping her hips. “Don’t you dare fucking be careful. Take me like you mean it!”

#MidWeekTease-Do I Have To Be Into BDSM To Join? #WIP #HolidayRomance #BestFriends #DatingAdvice

Hi Teasers! It's Clare and I'm back!  Yay!  Been working and you know how it is when "Real Life" gets in the way. But I have been writing. You know I couldn't stop doing that.  I finished the third book in the Love Play Matchmaking Service series.  It's in the second/third draft version and in need of proofing. But it's all there!  Whew!  I hope to have it submitted by mid-November, early December by the latest. See the hot guy below? He is the inspiration for the Hero/hottie for this book!

My inspiration for Brion, the MC of book 3
 in
The Love Play Matchmaking Service series

Brion has been called into the office at work by his best friend and boss Nate Poole.  Nate is concerned about Brion and is encouraging him to go on a date by using Love Play.

Excerpt

“Hey I met my husband and wife through them,” Nate said.

“No offense but what am I supposed to think when you say Love Play?”

“You're supposed to consider the reputable source for this information.  Me. Your best friend. Remember?  The one who asked you to be at my wedding.  The one where you said barely spoke a word to anyone including me.”

“I didn't want to steal your thunder,” Brion said. He shrugged his shoulders.  Nate knew he wasn't much of a socializer.  And he also knew he was godawful at small talk.

“Sucking all of the fun out of the room are the words you should have said,” Nate said.

“You wound up getting married again anyway,” Brion said.“You got to relive the moment probably with chattier friends."

“The second one was a collaring ceremony, I didn't invite you because I knew you would not have wanted to be there,” Nate said.

“You're right,” Brion said.

There were somethings a guy didn't want to see his best friend do, like walking around in a thong while wearing a spiked leather collar or whatever the three of them did during their BDSM thing.

“Getting back to the point, Love Play specializes in people who can't seem to find the right person.  I never told you about it before because they've recently turned into a referral only service.  And as a lifetime member, we are asked to honor our agreement of discretion with them.  But since you are in desperate need of their services, I can tell you everything you want to know about them.”

“Why are they called Love Play?” Brion asked.

“Their mum thought it would like nice on the stationary. How the hell would I know? What kind of dumb arse question is that?  Try again,” Nate said.

“Do I have to be into BDSM in order to join? And if not, are they going to make sign up for some whips and chains course when I do?” Brion asked.

“Since I know you, I won't reach over and slap you for that,” Nate said. “And I'll try not to be hurt at that delicate slight for my proclivities toward feather boas and anal plugs.”

“God no!”

Nate snorted then laughed.

“Seriously.  It's the first thing you talk about during orientation.  It's pretty painless, The Punisher comes in and asks you to pick a safe word then you bend over,” Nate said. “Just close your eyes and grit your teeth. Next question.”

“I'm going to be sick,” Brion said.

“Sit down. I'm only messing with you. No you don't have to do anything you don't want. And for your information, we did not request BDSM when we joined.”

“It was a perk then?” Brion asked.

“A very pleasurable one,” Nate said, smiled and waggled his eyebrows.

“You're still messing with me aren't you?”

“Yes.  God when did you get to be so serious? You really need to get laid.  And quickly. Fortunately, they work fast,” Nate said. “And they're really good.”

“What did they do that was so special?” Brion asked.

“They set me up with my soul mates.”

Okay that's all I have for you today.  Thanks for stopping by.  I'm also halfway through the writing process for book 4 in the Love Play Matchmaking Service series and that one is a MM! I can't tell you a lot-- don't want to lose the element of surprise but I can tell you this storyline offers a little of a BDSM twist!

Perhaps I'll post a snippet from that one next week!

In the meantime, check out the list below to find more sexy Midweek Teases!

Excerpt

The ferry boat sliced through the salty waters carrying Demi closer to the island. The mystical sea air flowed through her very being, giving her confidence in her submission, telling her it was okay to agree to a domestic discipline marriage, complete with maintenance spankings, punishment spankings, and every other kind of spanking in between. She hated it as much as she loved it; resisted it as much as she craved it.

She stood on the bow of the vessel, all ten fingers curled around the railing to prevent herself from nursing the soreness in her disciplined bottom and focused on a pod of dolphins frolicking in the white-capped waves. She leaned further into the breeze, letting the mystic sea air welcome her home, refresh her soul, nurture her need to submit to her husband. She quivered, hot and wet, and looked at Kal standing next to her. So alpha—so strong. Would she be able to fulfill his needs and submit to him by placing herself over his lap the next time he patted his thigh? Even after a week of practice during their honeymoon, she still had difficulty putting herself into position, but as the ferry slowly inched closer to land, the island’s magic oozed into her pores, and tonight she had every intention of going over his lap without assistance to prove to herself and to him her total commitment to live the domestic discipline lifestyle.

Kal moved behind her wrapping strong, loving arms around her waist and buried his nose into her hair. “Hmm. I wish I could bottle the scent of you up and always carry it with me.”

Demi glowed, his words warming her insides. Kal nuzzled his face against her cheek. “Ready to see our home?”

“The excitement is killing me.” During their honeymoon, Kal had gifted her with pictures of the beach house he had purchased for her, and she barely contained her enthusiasm. Bouncing on her toes, she wiggled her bottom against the front of his trousers. His excitement was instantly evident as he pressed his erection into the recesses of her crack. But his strict words sharply contrasted his throbbing bulge. With his lips to her ear, he said, “Have patience, wifey.”

The endearment touched her soul, and she found that she fully agreed with Kal, for he was right. A lady never rushes. The words from  Inner Peace calmed her, and she settled against his hardness until the boat docked. With her hand in his, she regally let him guide her to his speedy roadster, and then they cruised to the remote section of the island, away from the main tourist attractions.

Soon the crowded seashore gave way to sparsely placed houses and private beaches. A coral-pink house came into view. Sitting along the white sand, it was the most charming house on the strip, and it was all hers and Kal’s.

“Oh, Kal.” She held one hand to her chest as she absently fumbled in the side pocket of her handbag for the keys. She grasped the pink dolphin key chain, and as the car rolled closer, she seized the door handle, ready to spring from the vehicle.

Kal palmed her knee. “Do you need a reminder in patience?”

She quickly checked her disposition, wishing to carry herself as a lady, patient and calm in all situations, a goal Kal had promised to help her reach. She righted herself, gladly straightening her shoulders to thwart any thoughts Kal may have been conjuring about baring her bottom in the driveway and giving her a spanking for all the neighbors to see. Not exactly how she wanted to greet any nearby sunbathers.

“No, sir.” She stilled, never taking her gaze from her house, and waited for Kal to round the car and assist her from the vehicle.

The exquisiteness of her new home, shimmering the color of a coral-pink sunset, stole her breath. The porch railings, trim, and shutters were the color of vanilla ice cream. A few yards past the dunes, the tide ebbed away from the sandy shore, sending a light breeze to tickle her skin and lift her curls. She tugged against Kal’s hand until he stopped.

The house captured all of her attention. A tear jagged to the surface, wetting her eyes. “What did I do to deserve this? To deserve you?”

He chuckled. “You bewitched me with your sweetness.” He caressed her cheek. Tender fingers traced along her jaw, gently pulling her stunned gaze from the beauty sprawled before her to look at him. Kal gulped, his Adam’s apple visibly bobbing in disbelief, his expression of fun and teasing turning to concern. “Demi-Anne Durango, are you crying?”

She swiped a tear. “It’s just… bliss.” She fell into his embrace, melting into him.

“I’ve never seen you cry. Dem, this is a major break—for you to release emotions.” He pecked the top of her head then slightly pulled away to capture the phenomenon. He kissed the happiness rolling down her cheek. “Don’t you see, Dem. Now it will be easier for you to let go when you’re over my knee.”

Kal had made a big-to-do of her lack of tears when he was spanking her bare bottom. He wanted her to use the time she spent draped across his lap to bond with him, to become one with him, even more so than when he made love to her. He had promised the release of her tears would refresh her soul as he spanked the pent-up stress from her, but she refused to see how the two types of crying were related. She playfully smacked his chest. “Show me my house. You big goof.”

He teasingly slapped her bum, and before he could fire off another slap, she gripped the keys in her hold and skipped toward the beautifully constructed staircase hugging the side of the house. Once on the wide porch, she crossed to the closest set of doors and entered through the beachfront, walking into the entry between the living and dining rooms. All windows and space and gorgeous. She breezed through the rooms, noting all Kal’s meager pieces of furniture from his previous bungalow.

“How did you do all this? When?”

“I didn’t. Our family did.”

By family, Kal meant the other agents employed at NASH Global and their spouses. Another tear jabbed at her ducts. They didn’t need to put forth the effort. She swiped. “Wow.”

He took her in his arms. “Demi, they are here for you. When I’m away, anything you need—all you have to do is ask.”

Relying on family was a foreign concept to her. Sure, her brother Neil was great but nothing like this. “They didn’t have to do all this.”

“It’s not much. It’ll take a while for you to Demi-it-up. And I want you and the girls to have a fantastic time decorating the place while I’m away.”

Actually, she saw herself hunched over stacks of documents in need of translating, but wasn’t about to pick that debate just yet. She clung to him. “I wish we could choose the furniture together.”

He kissed her. “Me too, babe, but I can assure you Heather, Abby, and Lexi will be more of an asset than I will.”

She nodded, letting a smile tug at her lips and reach her eyes. “Probably.”

He chuckled. “Hey now. You promised to miss me.”

“And I will.” She slid out of his grasp. Keeping her hand in his, she pulled him through the downstairs, room by room, and then up the stairs into a large nook overlooking the ocean.

The space easily accommodated Kal’s hunky body. He said, “This area would make a great library.” He crossed to the wide window. “We could put some lounge chairs here for reading.”

Where Kal saw shelves of books and relaxing chaises, Demi envisioned a cradle and rocking chair. Murals of teddy bears and yellow duckies adorned the walls. Sailboats too—no rag dolls. She’d have a little girl first. She rubbed her belly in anticipation of becoming a mother, but with Kal leaving on the morrow, she placed her dream on hold  and bounced into the master suite.

Kal’s bed and dresser barely filled the vast area. Her gaze fell on the wooden chair, placed threateningly between two windows against the long wall. Tall back, no arm rests. Embarrassed, she shivered and wondered who could have placed the menacing piece of furniture.

Kal moved behind her, running firm palms up and down the length of her bare arms. His warm touch tapped down the goose bumps. “It is exactly what you are thinking.”

Demi nodded and gulped as a heated awkwardness rushed up her neck and stormed across her cheeks.

Kal pointed to the far corner, flanked by windows. “That one will stay vacant.” He lovingly patted her bottom. “Please remember that when you are purchasing furniture.”

She tucked her chin to her chest, not wanting to think about how Kal expected her to spend time standing with her nose tucked into the narrow space where two walls joined, creating a special spot for her to reflect upon her actions and behavior when she fell short of her goals.

Seconds later, his fingers, gentle and loving, curled under her chin and lifted her face to his. “Dem, do you understand?”

She locked her gaze with his. So hot and commanding. He practically ate her alive with the look, while his dream of culturing a submissive wife dominated the atmosphere. “Yes, sir. I think I’ll paint those two walls a calming blue.”

“I like that idea.” He swatted her rear. “Now go check out the closet.”

With all the flair of a well-bred lady, Demi graced into the large room designed to display clothing. And display it did. Same as on their honeymoon, Kal had stocked the shelves and racks with beautifully crafted designer labels. Demi lost herself in the gift and spent way too long coveting the cedar shoe rack. It was all hers, and she loved it. “How can I ever thank you?” When he provided no suggestion, she turned. Kal had left her alone in the closet. “Hey, where did you go?” She went in search of her husband and had to look no further than the wicked spanking chair.

With his spine rigidly braced against the high back, Kal’s large palm rhythmically patted his muscular thigh.

Oh no. With quick thought, she said, “You should be going. I don’t want to make you late for work.”

His hand kept the even tempo. “I have time to administer one last maintenance spanking, and have dinner with you.”

“How about we eat first?” Nervous laughter bubbled from her. His stern gaze locked with hers; his eyes smoldered with dominance. Looked like she was going to get spanked.

A Midnight Spell by A.J. Marquez-Their Love Is Strong But She May Lose Her Own Life If She Casts The Wrong Spell #RomanceNovel #MF #Witches

Blurb

Lizzie Montgomery came to Montgomery Island determined to end a three-hundred-year curse that condemned her ancestor to wander the earth forever. But the moment Lizzie sets foot on the Island she realizes breaking the curse to free her great-aunt Charlotte’s ghost comes with a price. She may lose her own life if she casts the wrong spell.

Everything would be easier if she didn’t have to deal with Jake—archeologist extraordinaire—and his boxes of research on Paititi, the Lost City of Gold. Not only is he an uninvited guest, but he has in his possession what she needs: A book of spells.

Jake would gladly relinquish the book; the problem is the ghost who keeps showing up unannounced and her deadly threats. When he discovers Lizzie can lead him to the treasure he seeks, Jake promises to give her the book if she joins his expedition.

Clue after clue, Jake and Lizzie find their way into a murderous mystery full of trickery, black magic, and love. Time runs out and only true love’s first love can make the difference between evil and magic, life and death.

--

Excerpt:

The table lamps on the nightstands and picture frames rattled when Lizzie slammed the door. Upset she’d come into his room without his knowledge, Jake scrutinized everything that came into view.

She’d only raised his curiosity about the book with her clandestine search. After their conversation at the beach, he’d browsed the bookshelves in the study but had only come across paperbacks and hardcovers. Nothing old enough to be what he presumed Lizzie wanted.

On second thought, Lizzie might’ve been on to something when she’d decided sneaking into his bedroom was a good idea.

Intrigued, he wandered about his room, running his hand along the wall. An accent table obstructed his path, and Jake pushed it out of the way. A faint streak running from the ceiling down the wall caught his attention. He followed the line to discover an imperfection.

“Hmm…” Jake slid to the floor and probed the layer that didn’t belong. He pressed on it hard enough to see if he would need something stronger than his hand. “Hate to do this,” he said, hauling himself up. He kicked the wall with enough force to break through to a hollow space. Jake went down on his knees once more. He slid his hand through the opening, shuffling through the debris, hoping there’d be something and preferably not a dead rodent.

Unable to look inside, he trusted his hand to do all the work. His fingers skated over a hard surface covered in heavy paper, and he struggled to draw it out of the confined area.A dusty, original-board, custom-bound book that had seen more moons than he’d been alive stared back at him. Jake blew off the dust, uncovering a black, paper-covered pasteboard.

“I’ll be damned.” Warmth spread through him, and he rocked back on his heels, congratulating himself. His instinct told him this was what Lizzie and Aunt Rosalind had come to retrieve. Someone had gone to great lengths to hide this book from others, which meant Aunt Rosalind had lied to him. A sense of uneasiness swept over him at that realization.

Careful not to break it or damage any of the pages, he went to his desk. Jake eased into his chair ready to understand the mystery surrounding this infamous book. He gave it the same level of reverence he would any archeological item; it wasn’t every day he came across something this old, regardless of its history.

He lifted the cover to the first page.

“Charlotte,” he read aloud, and a freezing chill ran up his arms.

In complete denial of what he’d experienced, Jake closed the book. He remained seated, pretending his shoulders weren’t tight or that the hairs on the back of his neck hadn’t lifted. Jake waited for his body temperature to return to normal and his insides to stop trembling. But a sudden cold sweat covered his hands.

“What in the…”

He looked around, which was ridiculous because there wasn’t anyone else in the room. On the off chance there was someone, it’d have to be a burglar or something out of this world. Neither of the two options was a scenario he cared to entertain—not when he and the rest of the guests in the château were isolated on an island that could only be reached by boat.

Not a good thing to think about right now. He checked the time on his wristwatch with the aim to distract himself. Twelve midnight. Jake slid his chair closer to the desk. His fingers fidgeted the corner of the book’s cover as he considered his options. He could read its contents or put it away. Lizzie and Aunt Rosalind were welcome to it. In fact, he’d hand it over to them first thing tomorrow, but his inner voice urged him to satiate his curiosity first.

“To hell with it.” Jake flipped the book open and made it past the owner’s name, but his hand stilled when he reached the next page. “You have got to be kidding me.”

The rules are simple.

1. Revenge is a swift and powerful curse.

2. Romance is a virgin bride’s dress the color of fresh snow as is white magic.

3. Greed is the complete absorption of light as is night and black magic.

4. Love spells are long lasting and can’t ever be undone. Abuse them and risk a terrible fate.

5. Should a man come into possession of this book, he shall pay with his life within a fortnight.

“Fuck.” Jake closed the book at once. Dry heat spread across his forehead and he swept his hand over, trying to get rid of the non-existent sweat. He got to his feet and put distance between him and his desk. With a need for fresh air, he threw the window open, ready to be assaulted by the tropical breeze. Except it chilled him to the bone.

Unwilling to admit how disturbed and frightened this made him, Jake took a long breath and fastened his gaze on the jetty at the beach. A faint shadow stood at the end. For a second, he swore a pair of eyes met his before the figure disappeared into the fog surrounding the island.

What the fuck is happening? Did Lizzie and Rosalind have anything to do with this? Enough was enough. Eager to divest himself of that damn book, he turned on his heel, but stopped halfway, then retreated from the woman standing in front of him.

The same woman from the jetty.

“Rosalind can’t have this,” the woman said.

Jake stood frozen and unblinking, hoping this was an illusion. He’d worked on his research all day and took a break here and there but hadn’t had a decent lunch and was running on fumes. Yes. I’m exhausted.

“You must keep it in a safe place and give it to Lizzie five weeks from now.” She stepped forward. “Not a day earlier.”

For a ghost—or whatever she was—the woman was demanding. Though she didn’t seem dangerous, he wouldn’t take any chances. “Who are you?” he asked.

“Charlotte Montgomery.” With those last two words, she dissolved into thin air.
