Shadows Of Our Past by Tanya J. Russell- Face To Face With The Man She Fell In Love With Years Ago It May Tear Their Lives Apart #MF #RomanticSuspense

Blurb

Jackson Halland has spent ten years running from a mistake that cost him everything, including Amory Parker, the woman he loved. With his gut wrenching response to her reappearance, he realises that if she will forgive him, then maybe, just maybe, he can forgive himself.

After ten years of working undercover Amory agrees to one final mission. Vowing to get justice for the woman she promised, and failed, to protect, nothing will stand in her way, not the prolific criminal she’s determined to bring down and certainly not coming face to face with the man she fell in love with on her very first undercover assignment, even if he has no idea who she really is, or the part she played in his past.

Excerpt

Amory was so engrossed in her thoughts she didn’t hear the approaching sound of bare feet, padding on the smooth wooden floor, until a deep groan broke through them and she looked up to see Jackson. His mussed, dark blond hair was shot through with strands of gold in the overhead lighting.

The man was incredibly made. His arms stretching up and behind his head caused the bottom of his t-shirt to lift a few teasing inches, revealing a tantalizing glimpse of a tanned, rock-hard stomach. They weren’t the sculpted lines that came from the gym, but powerful, solid muscles. A fine trail of hair led the way to the top of his loose navy shorts. As he reached the bottom of the stairs, her gaze was transfixed.

His legs were long and thick, every muscle rippling as he moved down the stairs into the hallway. A rush of heat shot through her body, setting every nerve alight. Her stomach rolled as she absorbed the sight while a little lower everything tightened and tingled. She’d hoped that her memory had been flawed, tinted by the rose-colored lenses of what she had long since accepted was her first love. That clearly wasn’t the case. Rather than letting himself go he had become more impressive. The slenderness of youth had filled out, living up to the promise of overwhelming masculinity.

His lean muscles had broadened, and whilst the softness of youth had faded from his features, it had left a strong profile in its wake. Jackson had grown up all man. She gulped, heat flooding her.

The good feeling from her run was replaced by a more base desire to touch every inch of his perfect body. To pull it hard against her own and feel those muscular planes mold against her. She unconsciously licked her lips as she watched him.

As she met his eyes, the feeling of heat evaporated, replaced by a harsh chill of dread that sank through to her toes. His emotions were playing across his face and it was clear that, despite her DCI’s reassurances, Jackson had joined the dots and figured out who she was. The recognition clearly shocked him as his whole body jolted abruptly to a stop.

Unable to move, she stared helplessly as he began to walk toward her, his face a mix of unreadable emotions. As he reached out, her body began to respond to the heat that rolled off of him. The scent of his skin washed over her, but she moved back defensively. It was a tactical mistake, giving away that she knew who he was, that she had known all along.

“Amory?” he whispered, hope shining oddly through that one word.

Almost imperceptibly shaking her head, all her professionalism flew out the window, and with her heart sinking she managed a stuttered whisper, “N-n-no… No, you’re wrong. I’m Olivia.”

No amount of training was going to get her through this. Despite her only half-admitted hope that he’d see who she really was, Amory knew too much was at stake for this to happen, but it had. Now she had to endure the awful consequences of him recognizing her, the hatred that would follow this moment.

Collaring Colleen by Cara Covington and Morgan Ashbury-They Want To Love, Protect And Train Their New Submissive #RomanceNovel #BDSM #MFM

[Siren Ménage Everlasting: Erotic Contemporary Consensual BDSM Ménage a Trois Romantic Suspense, M/F/M, HEA]

Dr. Colleen Duncan is certain someone at the Lyon’s Den knows where her sister is. Instead of Mercy, what she finds at the private BDSM club are two P.I. Doms willing to trade lessons in submission for their efforts to find her sister.

Daniel Welsh and Rob Conrad know a sub when they meet one, and that look is all over Colleen. A gifted trauma surgeon, the woman is clearly frightened out of her wits at the disappearance of her younger sister, Mercy.

As the men help Colleen reveal her inner submissive, they also bring more than their own expertise to the case. They enlist the aid of two other Doms with investigative backgrounds who met, and were very drawn to, Mercy.

It doesn’t take them long to learn something substantial...and worrying. Someone else is looking for Mercy, too, and that can’t be good. There’s no time to waste. The clock is ticking.

Note: This book contains double penetration.

A Siren Erotic Romance

STORY EXCERPT

“Dr. Colleen Duncan, I’d like you to meet Daniel Welsh and Rob Conrad. Gentlemen, Dr. Duncan is a trauma surgeon at Houston General. She also has a very pressing problem. Her younger sister, Mercy, has been missing for a week.”

It was all Colleen could do to keep her expression professional. Something about the two men who’d just come into the lounge affected her, and for a moment she felt like she’d taken a ride on the scariest roller coaster ever. The darker haired man, Daniel, appeared big and buff and she wouldn’t be surprised to discover he ate nails for breakfast. His eyes were a deep chocolate brown, and his face a mask of polite interest that gave nothing away. He’s wearing the same kind of public face I often do. She wondered if that mask, on his part, was motivated for the same reason as her own, but she doubted it. Any sign of emotion on the part of a woman who also happened to be a professional was often read as weakness. To be emotionally transparent, for a woman, was to risk male collogues not taking her seriously.

She doubted anyone failed to take this man anyway but dead serious all the time.

Rob, on the other hand, with his blond hair and very light blue eyes, had the look of a charmer. The sensation of both men’s naked palms against hers as they shook hands shocked her right down to her toes. Since when did she ever feel that kind of electric attraction to any man, let alone two? Before she could martial any words, Mr. Lyons continued speaking.

“Apparently the officers she’s been dealing with at the HPD think—based on no particular facts whatsoever—that Mercy Duncan is on some sort of a wild bender, and will turn up eventually.”

She heard real anger in Mr. Lyon’s words. She looked at him, and realized the emotions she’d sensed hadn’t been any annoyance with her, but his very real annoyance at the way she’d been treated by the HPD.

For the first time since she’d arrived at this club, Colleen allowed herself a small measure of hope.

“Has your sister ever done anything like that in the past?” Daniel Welsh watched her face as she registered his words. She didn’t mind the close scrutiny even if it did make her uncomfortable.

“No, never. We lost our parents when she was ten and I was twenty-five. She knows I’d worry. Mercy has never gone more than a day between contacting either me or our housekeeper, Ellie.”

“The HPD are idiots.” Daniel turned to the owner of the Lyon’s Den. “Chris, did you call Detective Carter?”

Mr. Lyons nodded. “Yes. He’s who’s on his way. I was about to explain to Dr. Duncan that Chance Carter doesn’t work missing persons, but he should be able to light a fire under the asses of those who do.”

“Good.” Daniel turned his attention back to her. “Sit down, Colleen. You’re too stressed. You need to relax.”

She’d felt only slightly compelled to sit down when she’d first accompanied Mr. Lyons into this room and he’d invited her to do so. But that mild sensation wasn’t anything compared to the urge washing through her now. She told herself that it was just that she simply couldn’t keep up the tough act she usually generated any longer. She really didn’t just give in to the need to obey Daniel Welsh. Her sitting was simply a matter of timing.

Colleen gave a slight nod, and turned toward the furniture set about. A comfortable looking love seat beckoned, and she sat at one end of it. None of the three men in the room seemed surprised by her capitulation. She took a moment to surreptitiously look at them as they remained standing. Those nuances must be in my head. Here I am in a BDSM club and my mind is playing tricks on me. Sometimes sitting down was just sitting down. She’d be better off to focus on reality.

Daniel sat down beside her, not on the love seat, but in the arm chair to her left. “Can you tell me why it is you thought your sister was being kept here?”

When he phrased it just that way, her reasons for coming here sounded odd. “I’m sorry, I suppose I was acting…desperate. I’m grasping at straws at the moment. But this was one of the last places I know Mercy had gone, and it was someplace she’d never been before.”

“So, her coming here was out of character for her?”

Colleen shook her head. “No. My sister is the most curious person I know. It’s totally in keeping with her personality to satisfy that curiosity.”

“I’ve checked our membership records,” Mr. Lyons said. He sat down across from her on an ottoman. Rob took the open seat beside her, but sat facing her. She didn’t feel crowded. I don’t feel cocooned, either. That’s my imagination again.

“We have no member named Mercy Duncan.” Mr. Lyons said. “You mentioned your sister was a reporter. Would she have been working undercover? Was she, perhaps, writing a story about my club?”

That thought had never occurred to Colleen. The question was easy enough, though, for her to answer, because she’d seen journalistic zeal in her sister, and what Mercy had displayed as she’d talked about coming here to this club had not been that.

ADULT EXCERPT

Daniel used his mouth to claim her pussy as commandingly as he’d claimed her mouth. The cry he tore from her overflowed with need, a need she’d barely acknowledged her entire life but that now threatened to undo her completely. She felt the roughness of his tongue as he lapped at her pussy, as he used it to gather her juice. The brush of it against her clit shot her hips off the bed, or would have, had she not been held down with such strength.

Rob bent over her and ran his tongue over her left nipple. Then he closed his lips over it, gave it a small nip, and sucked her deep into his mouth.

Daniel stopped his oral stimulation. “Don’t come, pet.”

Colleen whimpered. She couldn’t have heard right! Rob’s laughter vibrating against the wet flesh of her nipple told her she had, indeed.

“You may only come when we say so. Let’s see how high you can reach, first.” Rob returned to her nipple while Daniel took long, slow licks of her pussy.

Heat and arousal shivered through her, a titanic force she doubted she could ever control. Her only recourse was to try and distract her mind. Don’t think about how badly you want to come. Think about something else. Colleen closed her eyes and focused on dissecting the human heart, beginning on the right side. Brachiocephalic artery, superior vena cava, right pulmonary artery, right pulmonary veins…her thoughts shattered as horniness bubbled through her like liquid lava, destroying the ability of her mind to focus, to think. Fingers traced the opening of her pussy then gently penetrated her body. Daniel’s fingers…. Again, her thoughts sizzled away, an electrical circuit blown as more pulsing, surging thrills shot from nipples to clit to whatever it was inside her Daniel began to stroke. She bore down, as if she could by pure will stop the erotic swell of Eros’ magic. It grew and grew, and Colleen whimpered, not even realizing she was begging until her words rose in volume.

“Oh, please, please, please, please, please……”

“Come for us, baby.”

Thank God. Those two words were a mere shadow of a thought, overwhelmed by the eruption of her climax, a volcanic explosion so fierce, so wild, she screamed. Heart pounding, pussy pulsing, breath heaving, she didn’t for one moment know if she was having a heart attack along with the best orgasm, ever.

Pleasure so profound filled her. Wave after wave of the most extraordinary thrills lifted her, changed her, so that she didn’t know anything, except a sudden and keen craving for more.

Aftershocks washed through her as she returned to earth. Rob eased back from her, and then Daniel moved up her body, a predator about to claim his prey, moving on hands and knees, his gaze fixed on hers.

She felt the brush of his condom-covered cock against her drenched folds, and could smell the perfume of her climax on his glistening face.

Then he moved, pressing into her, his thrusts short and gentle, but relentless. She hadn’t realized how large his cock was, but welcomed the sting, a sting that seemed to reignite her arousal. Then, finally, she held all of him in the cradle of her body. Colleen had never felt so full, had never loved the feeling of having a man’s cock inside her. She loved this feeling, a lot.

“Wrap yourself around me, give me your mouth, and hold on.”

She didn’t think, she simply obeyed. The flavor of them both in that kiss, darkly carnal, fueled her arousal. His tongue plundered her mouth as completely as his cock plundered her pussy, and Colleen surrendered to the moment, and to the man. Daniel thrust into her, hard and fast and deep and she wanted more and more and more.

The orgasm came suddenly, a full, heaving, throbbing erotic thrill that took her apart down to her last cell, then threw her back together again. On her, in her, Daniel stiffened, then groaned. She felt the pulsing of his cock inside her body, reveled in the heat filling the condom, and cherished the press of his cum filled condom on the edge of her cervix. For a heartbeat she wondered what it would be like if he’d been naked within her. Then the question passed as he allowed himself to rest on her. She held him, this her lover, and she felt new, changed, sated.

He raised himself on his arms, removing most of his weight, but not his presence. His gaze met hers, and the sense he could read her thoughts, though not logical, was real.

“Tell me, pet.”

“It was more than I knew there could be, Sir.” The title tumbled from her lips without thought.

His smile, slow and very smug, somehow tickled her inner woman. She might be destroyed, thanks to him. But he was sated and smug, and that had been all her doing.

Earning Her Trust And Her Love Will Be Their Most Rewarding Mission Of All- Stormy Desire by Leah Brooke #RomanceNovel #BDSM #Menage

[Siren Menage Everlasting: Erotic Contemporary Consensual BDSM Menage a Quatre Romantic Suspense, M/F/M/M, HEA]

Stormy James had spent her entire life avoiding Desire, Oklahoma, a town where Dominant, chauvinistic men ruled. As a private investigator, she knew how to take care of herself, but when a case turned deadly, she found herself on the run, and heading toward Desire, and her brother, Logan James, the only man she trusted.

Lucas Hart, Devlin Monroe, and Caleb Ward had been friends with Logan for years, and readily jumped into action to rescue his sister. It didn’t take long for them to realize that she was more to them than just a client, and keeping their emotional distance proved impossible.

Stormy's decision to leave Desire as soon as possible made convincing her to stay even more urgent. Earning the trust of a woman who feared and hated men because of past sexual abuse proved a greater challenge than they’d ever faced.

But, earning her trust, and her love, would be their most rewarding mission of all.

A Siren Erotic Romance

STORY EXCERPT

Sounding distracted, Stormy sighed. “Logan, listen. This guy’s dangerous, and I don’t want you to mess with him. If something happens to me, give the file to that sheriff you trust so much.”

“Stormy, I—”

“I’ve got this, Logan.”

Logan jumped to his feet a split second before Lucas did. “Bullshit!”

“Logan, stay out of it. I’m a big girl and have been handling myself for a long time. Can you assure me that the cop you trust so much can’t be bought?”

Logan smiled and looked at Ace. “As a matter of fact, I can. Ace is sitting here with me now and has already seen the pictures. Lucas, Devlin, and Caleb are here, too.”

Stormy paused, but the sound of her engine sped up, the wind blowing adding to the noise and telling Lucas that they hadn’t lost the connection. “Those friends of yours with the security company? What the hell did you do, Logan? Tell the entire town?”

Lucas frowned at the stress in her tone, something she obviously tried very hard to hide from her brother.

Logan rose again, scraping his hand through his hair, his frustration obvious. “No. I told my friends, who are almost as worried about you as I am. They want to help.”

“I can imagine. You and that town full of Neanderthals are probably chomping at the bit to help a damsel in distress. I’ve got news for you, big brother. I’m no damsel in distress. Not anymore. That sheriff you told me about?”

“What about him?”

“You really trust him?”

Logan took a steadying breath and looked directly at Ace. “With my life and, more importantly, with yours.”

“Got her.” Caleb blew out a breath, turning the laptop around so Lucas, Logan, and Ace could see it. “She’s on the outskirts of Tulsa.”

“What?” Stormy’s voice held a hint of panic that sent a chill of alarm to Lucas’s gut. “You’re tracking me? Damn it, Logan. Do you have me on speaker phone?”

“You’re damned right I do! I need all the help I can get with you. Damn it, honey. What the hell have you gotten yourself into?”

Patting Logan’s back, Lucas rose, bending low to speak into the phone. “Head for Desire. We’ll meet you.”

“Logan, tell your friend to kiss my ass. I’m flying right through Tulsa and—”

Picking up the phone, Lucas gritted his teeth and headed outside. “This is Lucas Hart. Head to Desire. We’re coming to get you. If you have people after you, you’ll be safer here.”

Aware that everyone followed him out and listened to his conversation, Lucas headed toward his SUV, motioning for Devlin to drive while Caleb watched Stormy’s progress on the computer screen.

“Listen, whoever you are, I—”

Lucas climbed into the back seat with Logan while Devlin slid behind the wheel and Caleb jumped into the front passenger seat, settling his laptop on his lap. “I already told you who I am. Lucas. Lucas Hart. I’m a friend of Logan’s, and I can keep you safe. Turn left at the next intersection.”

“I’m hanging up.”

Logan grabbed his phone back. “Don’t you dare!”

Devlin glanced back at Logan, his eyes hard and cold, his voice laced with fear. “Your sister’s in need of a good spanking.”

Logan’s eyes narrowed briefly on Devlin’s, the sadness and remembered terror in them unnerving Lucas. “She’s been through enough.”

“Logan!”

Logan jolted at his sister’s voice, blinking once, his lips thinning. “We’re on our way to you. Follow the signs for Desire. You’re gonna be on a long two-lane road, lined with trees. We’ll meet you on that road.”

“Logan, I’m not bringing trouble to your beloved town, and I’m certainly not bringing it to you.”

Although aware that Caleb already had Ace on the car speaker, Lucas focused on Logan’s conversation with Stormy.

Ace remained silent, obviously listening to the conversation between brother and sister along with everyone else.

Uneasy that the tension in her voice increased each time she spoke, Lucas shared a look with Caleb, leaning closer to speak into Logan’s phone. “What’s wrong?”

“I don’t know what—”

Lucas clenched his jaw. “Don’t tell me you don’t know what I’m talking about! I can hear it in your voice. Something’s changed in the last few seconds. What is it?”

The silence lasted several heartbeats, allowing them to hear Stormy’s breath catch and the squeal of tires. “They found me. Logan, let your cop handle it.”

Logan paled again. “You’re talking about the guy in the picture?”

Another silence followed, and impatient with her, Lucas snapped. “Talk. Is it the guy in the picture?”

“No. It’s not Sam Kline. Uh, Logan?”

“Yeah, honey?”

Caleb turned to Lucas. “She’s coming up to the turn.”

Logan gripped the phone tighter, his knuckles turning white. “Turn left, honey.”

“Before I do, Logan, there’s something I have to tell you that might change your mind.”

“Nothing will. Turn, Stormy, and step on the gas.”

“Okay. I turned. Damn it, Logan. You have no idea what kind of trouble I’m bringing with me.”

Logan swallowed heavily. “Tell me.”

“Sam Kline put a contract on me.”

“What?”

“Shit.” The unmistakable sound of gunfire and squealing tires tightened Lucas’s gut.

“Yeah. He wants me dead, Logan, so I can’t testify against him—and he’s offered a million dollars to anyone who kills me.”

Lucas shared a look with both Devlin and Caleb, and he could tell they were all thinking the same thing.

Stormy James was in a hell of a lot more trouble than they’d anticipated.

And there was a real possibility that they wouldn’t get to her in time.

ADULT EXCERPT

Lucas slid his hand from her inner thigh to her bottom, his finger gathering her juices and slipping unerringly to her puckered opening. “Now, Stormy.”

It took incredible effort, but she stopped bucking her hips, scared that she would accidentally take Lucas’s finger inside.

Sucking in a breath when he began to apply pressure, Stormy met Devlin’s low chuckle with a glare and turned her attention to Lucas. “Damn it. You would do it, wouldn’t you?”

“In a heartbeat.”

Caleb groaned and moved from between her thighs. “Devlin, hold on to her. I gotta get undressed and put a condom on.”

Devlin grinned. “With pleasure.” Hooking an arm under her other leg, he grinned down at her. “No escape, baby.”

As soon as Caleb moved away, Lucas pulled her other knee back, pressing his fingertip slightly into her. “One.”

Chills raced through her, fear swept aside at the possessive heat in Lucas’s eyes. “Okay. Okay.” Alarmed at her own dark desires, she moaned when another rush of moisture escaped.

Her bottom clenched, the awareness Lucas had awakened there startling.

Mortified that something so naughty and erotic could excite her, she struggled to steady her breathing and keep her ass and pussy from clenching.

Watching a now naked Caleb roll on a condom, Stormy sucked in a breath, a cry escaping when Devlin began to stroke her nipple again.

A light film of perspiration covered her skin, the heat inside her spreading and sizzling just beneath the surface.

Fighting to remain still, she trembled, the threat of Lucas pushing his finger deeper into her ass no longer as frightening.

Lucas ran a thumb over her clit, moving the fingertip inside her in a slow circle, the barrage of sensations so intense she struggled to breathe. “Two.”

Caleb moved between her thighs, poising the head of his cock at her slick entrance. “Talk, Stormy.”

Pushing against Lucas’s and Devlin’s hold on her thighs, Stormy lifted herself in an attempt to get Caleb’s cock inside her, her movement shifting Lucas’s finger inside her in a way that made her bottom hole sting.

Sucking in a breath, Stormy lowered herself again. “Kathy. It was Kathy.”

Lucas slid his finger free, caressing her puckered opening as if he knew that it stung, but it only made her want more attention there. “Your roommate?”

“Yes!” She groaned when Caleb covered her body with his, taking her face between his hands.

Sliding his fingers over her temple, he pushed her damp hair back. “Look at me, Stormy.”

The combination of tenderness and demand in his voice settled the last of her fears, and looking up at him, she smiled to let him know that she wanted it.

“I want you. Take me, Caleb.”

His big body shuddered over hers. “It’s gonna hurt a bit, but I promise that it’ll be over soon. Once I’m inside you, I won’t move until you tell me to. Okay?”

Feeling more confident by the second, she wrapped her now freed legs around him and lifted herself, sucking in a breath when it forced the head of his cock more firmly against her. “I trust you. Just do it. I hate being afraid. Oh!”

The sting brought back a barrage of memories, memories that melted away at the whispered reassurance and gentle hands moving over her.

Her pussy clenched on Caleb’s cock, making her stiffen in expectation of more pain.

His cock felt harder and hotter than she’d expected, but when he kept his promise and remained still, she gradually began to relax.

Instinctively pushing against him, Stormy struggled to adjust to the incredible fullness, relaxing even more when she felt his body tremble with the effort of remaining still.

Caleb crooned to her, his lips brushing her temples. “I won’t move, Stormy. The pain’s over. No more. Now there’s nothing but pleasure.”

Lucas and Devlin each caressed her shoulders, both men watching her, their eyes gleaming with indulgence, affection, and a hunger that left her breathless.

Gripping Caleb’s shoulders, she met his gaze, experimentally clenching on his cock. A moan escaped at the fullness, and her arousal reignited with a vengeance.

Rubbing her feet over his tight ass, she smiled at his groan and hardened features, feeling closer to him than ever. “Move, Caleb.”

Raising himself slightly, he braced himself on his elbows, his lips twitching. “Bossy woman.”

Cupping the back of her head with one large hand, he began to move, watching her intently.

Although aware that both Lucas and Devlin stayed close, Stormy found herself lost in the feel of Caleb.

Strength and heat surrounded her, Caleb’s cock filling her and creating a delicious friction with every smooth stroke.

She felt secure in his firm hold while his gentle caress and sharp attention made her feel cared for in a way that filled her with confidence.

The brief initial pain had become a distant memory as the pleasure continued to build.

Closing her hands on Caleb’s biceps, she lifted into his thrusts, crying out when he began to move faster.

Shifting his weight slightly, he slid a hand under her, lifting her into his thrusts.

Lost in sensation, she moaned in pleasure at the fullness.

At the incredible friction against her inner walls, each stroke of his hot cock sending her closer and closer to the edge.

She’d expected to feel taken and vulnerable, but she hadn’t expected to feel the feminine power at the knowledge that she pleased her lover.

“Careful, Caleb.”

Even though the concern in Lucas’s voice warmed her, Stormy was too close to coming to want Caleb to take it easy.

“No.” Digging her heels into Caleb’s tight butt, she lifted herself, pumping her hips. “Don’t you dare fucking be careful. Take me like you mean it!”

#MidWeekTease-Do I Have To Be Into BDSM To Join? #WIP #HolidayRomance #BestFriends #DatingAdvice

Hi Teasers! It's Clare and I'm back!  Yay!  Been working and you know how it is when "Real Life" gets in the way. But I have been writing. You know I couldn't stop doing that.  I finished the third book in the Love Play Matchmaking Service series.  It's in the second/third draft version and in need of proofing. But it's all there!  Whew!  I hope to have it submitted by mid-November, early December by the latest. See the hot guy below? He is the inspiration for the Hero/hottie for this book!

My inspiration for Brion, the MC of book 3
 in
The Love Play Matchmaking Service series

Brion has been called into the office at work by his best friend and boss Nate Poole.  Nate is concerned about Brion and is encouraging him to go on a date by using Love Play.

Excerpt

“Hey I met my husband and wife through them,” Nate said.

“No offense but what am I supposed to think when you say Love Play?”

“You're supposed to consider the reputable source for this information.  Me. Your best friend. Remember?  The one who asked you to be at my wedding.  The one where you said barely spoke a word to anyone including me.”

“I didn't want to steal your thunder,” Brion said. He shrugged his shoulders.  Nate knew he wasn't much of a socializer.  And he also knew he was godawful at small talk.

“Sucking all of the fun out of the room are the words you should have said,” Nate said.

“You wound up getting married again anyway,” Brion said.“You got to relive the moment probably with chattier friends."

“The second one was a collaring ceremony, I didn't invite you because I knew you would not have wanted to be there,” Nate said.

“You're right,” Brion said.

There were somethings a guy didn't want to see his best friend do, like walking around in a thong while wearing a spiked leather collar or whatever the three of them did during their BDSM thing.

“Getting back to the point, Love Play specializes in people who can't seem to find the right person.  I never told you about it before because they've recently turned into a referral only service.  And as a lifetime member, we are asked to honor our agreement of discretion with them.  But since you are in desperate need of their services, I can tell you everything you want to know about them.”

“Why are they called Love Play?” Brion asked.

“Their mum thought it would like nice on the stationary. How the hell would I know? What kind of dumb arse question is that?  Try again,” Nate said.

“Do I have to be into BDSM in order to join? And if not, are they going to make sign up for some whips and chains course when I do?” Brion asked.

“Since I know you, I won't reach over and slap you for that,” Nate said. “And I'll try not to be hurt at that delicate slight for my proclivities toward feather boas and anal plugs.”

“God no!”

Nate snorted then laughed.

“Seriously.  It's the first thing you talk about during orientation.  It's pretty painless, The Punisher comes in and asks you to pick a safe word then you bend over,” Nate said. “Just close your eyes and grit your teeth. Next question.”

“I'm going to be sick,” Brion said.

“Sit down. I'm only messing with you. No you don't have to do anything you don't want. And for your information, we did not request BDSM when we joined.”

“It was a perk then?” Brion asked.

“A very pleasurable one,” Nate said, smiled and waggled his eyebrows.

“You're still messing with me aren't you?”

“Yes.  God when did you get to be so serious? You really need to get laid.  And quickly. Fortunately, they work fast,” Nate said. “And they're really good.”

“What did they do that was so special?” Brion asked.

“They set me up with my soul mates.”

---

Okay that's all I have for you today.  Thanks for stopping by.  I'm also halfway through the writing process for book 4 in the Love Play Matchmaking Service series and that one is a MM! I can't tell you a lot-- don't want to lose the element of surprise but I can tell you this storyline offers a little of a BDSM twist!

Perhaps I'll post a snippet from that one next week!

In the meantime, check out the list below to find more sexy Midweek Teases!

Happy Reading!

Fiery 10-16 by Lea Bronsen-Promise To Be Good. Promise That It's The Last Time #RomanticSuspense #Firefighter

Hi, and thank you for hosting my new dark romantic suspense!
Fiery 10-16 is a scorching firefighter story of desire, abuse, and bravery.

Blurb:

Runo Wiggins is a scarred man, the wounds etched into his psyche deeper than those on his skin. But he loves his job: fighting fires helps reenact his survival of a house fire as a teen, one that killed his mother and brutal stepfather.

Dawn Caravello is married to a psychotic drunk. She can take his beatings as long as he doesn't touch their children, and she'll do anything to put food on the table, even if it means stealing from the town hero. When Runo meets the fiery Dawn, sparks fly. But he suspects she is victim of the same abuse as his mother was.

As day turns to night, the past and the present blend in an exhausting, nerve-wrecking chase to prevent another death.

Excerpt:

Dawn's eyes shimmered with a mix of stubborn pride and extreme sadness. They seemed to be made of molten brown stone. Runo had never seen eyes like these. So vibrant, saying so many things. They revealed her life, her endurance, her dreams, her combats, her despair. And she was still so young. While he stared, she leaned forward and kissed him, an act a whole lot more intimate than he was comfortable with. A short, hard peck, a statement. Not the tender gesture a kiss was supposed to be, but one telling him her gratitude as well as her dignity.

She thanked him, but was going to go back to her life and continue fighting. He stood shocked, his whole body rigid, didn’t know what to do. She, such a small woman thing a whole head shorter, shook him, a giant of muscle and stupid testosterones inside a hard shell. He would definitely take care of Dawn and her kids. Any way possible. Alert the authorities and make sure they got the protection they desperately needed. She stepped backward, her features softening, and turned on her heel.

Not so fast.

He cleared his throat and called, lifting a weak hand.

“Hey, wait!” His heart hammered in his chest, blood pulsed in his ears.

She turned. “What?”

“Promise to be good. Promise it’s the last time you do it.”

“Do what?” Her eyes gleamed with humor.

“Kiss you?” In the midst of this emotional turmoil, she found the strength to tease.

“Steal.” And lie.

She pursed her lips, looking like a disappointed little girl. Maybe she still was a child inside. A child taking care of children. A child beaten savagely.

He swallowed. “Promise.”

After several long seconds, she nodded. But her gaze told a different truth.

Liar.

Hawk v Falcon by Elodie Parkes- When A Model and A Cage Fighter Meet the Heat Rises In the Dungeon- #MM #BDSM #Erotic #Romance #Contemporary #Suspense

Thank you for hosting my new release MM romance,
Hawk v Falcon: Surprise at the Candy Apple

When Chris Falconer receives an email from his lost high school friend, Justin, ten years after he last saw him, Chris is overjoyed. The two boys had shared kisses and sworn love for each other, but before their love could be tested, Justin’s mother abruptly took Justin out of school, and they disappeared.

Multi-talented and handsome Chris is a cage fighter at Jack’s Clubhouse, and works in the Candy Apple club. He writes a column for a fitness blog and keeps himself busy, but deep down he’s never forgotten Justin—turns out Justin has never forgotten Chris either.

On a modeling assignment in New York, Justin sees Chris in a café and can’t help contacting him, but his ex, Todd, who doesn’t want Justin but doesn’t want Chris to have him either, has plans to throw their reunion into disarray.

So begins a love story full of emotion. Will Todd succeed? Or this time, will Justin and Chris have the happy ending and delicious love they deserve?

In the second MM romance from the Candy Apple series, I picked up on the character Hawk, the Dungeon Master in the Candy Apple. Chris Falconer is Hawk to the dungeon surveillance staff, but to others he’s a lonely man who often thinks about his past with regret. To the audience at Jack’s Clubhouse, where Chris cage fights and provides display fight bouts, he’s a thrilling sight.

Chris is:
·         six foot, two
·         has dark glossy hair
·         has deep blue eyes
·         is kind and gentle
·         writes a blog for fitness and fight fans
·         loves sex and giving his partner pleasure
·         is muscled and handsome
·         when he’s not fighting, favors black suits, or a leather jacket
·         is intelligent, multi-talented, calm and sophisticated
Justin is:
  • a fashion model
  • six foot two
  • has dark hair
  • has clear blue/gray eyes
  • is lonely and had a stressful upbringing
  • has never forgotten Chris
  • needs love
  • has lived in Denmark for many years
  • is hesitant and yet as soon as Chris begins to take care of him, he blossoms

Their story is sexy, romantic, sad, and happy. No one is more surprised than Chris when he is contacted by long lost love Justin and he will do anything to give Justin the love he needs.

Read an excerpt:

Justin walked a pace behind Chris. It was such a relief to be near Chris, Justin’s fatigue threatened to overwhelm him. Every muscle in his body felt heavy. His gaze traced the broad shoulders and muscled thighs of the man in front. Chris’s hair was well cut and his suit obviously expensive. Chris was even taller than he’d been when Justin last saw him in person, but then so was he. Justin smiled as a wave of tenderness crept over him followed by a sharp need to feel Chris’s lips on his. He still loved Chris. He’d expected to find it was all in his head, that the love was confined to memories, and real life would show him he was mistaken, that love couldn’t last this long.
They were in a corridor when Chris turned to him. “I’ve thought about you so much, I’m a bit ashamed of myself for clinging to your memory, when you never called, when you just disappeared.”
Justin’s heart fell. Was Chris about to reject him now they were away from the bar, the friendly barkeep, and bright white glow of the downlights there? “I’m sorry...”
“No. I meant ... I mean I still care for you. I couldn’t ever shake it. I never got over you and it’s been ... it’s been so long—you know I sometimes felt weak for not letting go.”
Justin gazed at Chris’s handsome face. “I thought about you.” He slid his hand along Chris’s jaw. “I want to kiss you, so much.”
Chris closed the small gap between their bodies as he grabbed Justin’s head and brought his mouth down on Justin’s. Justin’s breath left him in a soft murmur. His eyes closed in pleasure. He clung to Chris, desperation to stay with Chris, never to go home, gripping him. All he could think of was starting again with Chris, of the delicious drifting sensation that overcame him as Chris pressed close. He kissed Chris over and over until he couldn’t breathe, and Chris held his face away a little whispering words he’d longed to hear against his mouth and dotting tiny kisses there between the phrases.
“Justin, stay here, in the club. I can’t let you go, but I can’t leave work. I still love you. I want to know where you’ve been all these years. Where do you live? You must be a club member. I’ve not seen you here before. Can you stay until we close? It will be late, but then we can talk—we can be together.”
Justin closed his eyes and leaned his head on Chris’s shoulder. “Yes.”
Chris folded Justin in his arms.
Justin stayed within the comfort of the embrace until he knew he had to let Chris get back to work. He raised his head and stepped away.
“I should let you work. I’ll hang out at the bar.”
Chris gazed into his eyes. “Thank you.” He kissed Justin gently. “Hell, you’ll never know how good it feels to kiss you again.

As Midnight Loves The Moon; A Vampire Romance by Beth D. Carter.

Blurb

Wayde Wallace is a vampire.  He’s been alone for a long time, until he smells the sunshine scent of a woman and finds Daphne Sabella.  Her blood smells intoxicating until he catches the stench of sickness upon her and realizes Daphne is dying.

Alexander Malden is a Shade cop sent to patrol the supernaturals who live among humans.  A rogue vampire is killing women and he thinks Wayde is the monster because only a trickster can make him feel such lust and longing.

To prove his innocence, Wayde goes out to find the real rogue vampire and Alex can’t help but follow because the mating bond has already settled between them.  And when they believe they can finally help Daphne, she becomes the next victim.  Now they must rescue her and turn her before she succumbs to death.

Excerpt:

Wayde looked behind Alex and noticed their conversation had gathered a few watchers. His gaze flickered back up to the handsome cop. “I suggest you sit down,” he said softly. “We’re attracting human notice.”

Alex glanced over his shoulder, probably to double check he told the truth, and slid into the booth, staring at him and carefully keeping out of his reach. “You think by distracting me in a bar, I won’t kill you?”

“You’re so bloodthirsty. Again, I ask you, why do you want to kill me? I’m not your rogue vampire.”

Alex’s eyebrows skyrocketed. “Right.”

“I’m not,” he stressed. “I’m a bookstore owner. I deal in extremely rare books, usually pre-Gutenberg printing press, although I never turn down a book in excellent condition from around 1040 to the mid-1800’s. Beer?”

“No,” Alex answered with a low growl. “Listen, you tried to kill me yesterday—”

“You attacked me,” Wayde interrupted. He pushed his beer aside and kept his eyes steady on the warrior in front of him. “And if I wanted you dead, you’d be dead. As you learned last night, I am able to hold my own.”

“I’ve come better prepared.” Alex opened his jacket a little more to show his gun.

“Ah. Your master plan is to take me out back and shoot me?”

“Of course. Your suggestion, remember?”

“Of all the things I said last night, that’s what stood out?” Wayde chuckled. “Listen, I have your sword at my shop. You can stop by anytime to pick it up.”

“I don’t actually plan for you to be alive for much longer.”

“Then I beg to differ,” he replied. “Have you ever killed a vampire before?”

He saw the answer before Alex muttered “no.”

He shifted forward in his seat, leaning toward Alex, who stiffened at the gesture. Then he focused on Alex, blocking out everything around them. The noise, the smell, the crackle of vinyl seats all faded as he called forth his hunger. It rose sharply, like it always did, waiting eagerly to be sated. It was heat and power and magic, all rolled together, bursting forth like an invisible web. And as soon as he captured Alex’s eyes with his own, he knew he had the man.

“I want you,” he murmured, weaving his spell. He knew that his voice took on a husky timber, that his eyes blazed with blue fire, and that his pheromones heated up. “Do you want me too, Alex?”
