What You Crave by Landra Graf- Shibari #Bondage Turns Into Much More, She Doesn't Want To Be Sued Again #Erotic, #Romance #BDSM

Blurb

Sigmund Bermudez has spent the last year out of the BDSM scene, mourning the death of his father and rebuilding the family business. When he loses a bet to his bodyguard that Madame Eve won’t locate a woman who’s down with his type of kink, he finds himself committed to a date he’s not sure he’ll enjoy.

Lauren Elser has heard about kinky escapades from one of her more challenging patients, and never taken in part in one. When offered a chance to explore this undiscovered side of herself courtesy of 1Night Stand, she jumps at it.

Neither of them is prepared for the emotional rollercoaster that comes with their date, and soon shibari bondage play turns into so much more. The only problem, is Sig’s not ready to open up and Lauren doesn’t want to be sued again. But if they work past the issues, there’s a world of wonder in store.

Excerpt:

"Now please explain to me why you’re here and not Logan.”

“I am Logan… Garrett Rogers. On my info sheet I listed my legal name, but everyone has always called me by my middle one so I wouldn’t get confused with my father. Thought I told you that when we met?” He picked up his menu then, cutting off any visual contact.

“Must have slipped your mind.” He’d tricked her, used her, and for what fucking purpose. “Like telling me you were manipulating me like some sub with a fetish.”

The menu came down about a half an inch exposing those stormy gray eyes of his. “Excuse me? If I’d told you about tonight, about me being your date, would you have shown up?”

She hesitated, reaching up to touch the bun at the back of her head, making sure the coiled hair held tight. The urge to lie and say yes on the tip of her tongue. Yet, she abhorred lying… at least most of the time. This might be one of the times she’d be willing to do it.

“Don’t you think about telling me a fib, Lace.”

Faking surprise she batted her lashes and went for demure. “Why I’d never?”

“The hair touching says otherwise. Remember, I’ve seen you lie before. Do it now and I’ll make you pay for it later.” He thought pretty highly of himself, threatening her like that. So, the truth is what he earned.

“Nope, I’d have canceled right away. Because this is silly, incompatible, and foolishness.” She lifted a glass of ice water to her lips, hoping a sip would cool her heated skin. The way he talked sometimes, the way he knew her made the air seem stuffy.

“I don’t think wanting you is any one of those things.”

She jerked her head, then coughed as a splash of water went down the wrong tube. No way had she heard those words correctly. “What did you say?”

“I. Want. You.”

Adult Excerpt:

“Garrett, wait!” Her words came like a message from above. Crystal clear, and with a hint of determination. Maybe he was reading too much into it, but he wanted to believe she’d chased him because, otherwise, this would be the last super-personal interaction they had. She caught up to him and gripped his shoulder tight. “I’m coming with you.”

He stopped and faced her, all of the five foot and five inches, flushed pink, blue-dress-wearing beauty. “Then you agree to the terms. We start now, the scene begins. You submit. No waiting, no more games.”

“But after I’m done, then you’ll submit to me.”

Garrett nodded. “Agreed. As long as you don’t hold back.”

“I won’t.”

He grinned at his success. Next, he’d test the freedom. “Then, walk in front of me, no words, and go to the passenger side door of my truck.” With where he’d parked, that side of the truck would be blocked from the front entrance of the restaurant and street.

She did as instructed, executing a slow, seductive strut, rounding the side of the building, and stopping in front of the passenger side door to his F-150 double-extended cab, black pickup. He’d be lying by trying to deny his erection or the fierce desire to have her this second. Unlike his Dominant counterparts, he didn’t need a scene to do the deed. No, he could have tantalizing sex without any provocation. The irony was he’d never known Lacey to be the same way. She always hid within a scene to get her jollies off.

He refused to let her hide. Right. Now. “Turn and put your arms against the truck, palms flat.”

“But—”

“I said no talking.”

She went through the motions, her expression showing frustration.

“Now, spread your legs by two inches.”

The great thing about both of them being Dominants was she knew the measurements and all the directions as well as an understanding of the instinct to follow—she’d never confess to such a thing, though. Once her legs were the proper distance, he leaned in, trailing the tip of his tongue along the shell of her ear, as his wandering fingers moved up the inside of her bare thigh and underneath the hemline of her dress. Instead of encountering panties or a thong, he found her bare. Such a brave statement deserved a reward, so he nipped her ear.

“You sat there, exposed like this, and never told me.”

“It’s a surprise, or at least I planned it to be.” Her words came out in short breaths, and, judging from the moisture he found when he reached the apex of her thighs, she found this encounter as arousing as he did.

“Well, consider this my surprise.” He inserted two digits into her opening, pounding them into her without preamble. Then followed up by flicking her clit with his thumb. She moaned, her purse making a small crinkling noise as she clutched it tight and put more pressure on the truck door.

He gave her the side of his other palm to bite on. “You need to keep it down or you’ll give us away.”

Her teeth sank into his flesh hard, and he growled, continuing his onslaught to her vagina. Her leg muscles tightened, and her feet arched. She tensed against him, and then her orgasm crested. She shook, refusing to let go of her grip on his flesh, in both her mouth and below. He pulled out and brought his hand to his mouth, licking her cum from his fingers. She angled her head, watching him, and then relaxed her jaw enough for him to pull his hand out.

“Thank you.” He flexed his fingers, trying to shake away the imprint of her teeth and the residual pain pulsating through his muscles as he reached into his suit coat for his keys and unlocked the truck. “Hop in.”

A Beautifully Witchy Holiday Romance- Frosty Relations by Tara Quan

Blurb

Attorney Jack Frost never understood why holidays did weird things to people. His secretary went on vacation, his best friend ditched their annual Aspen trip, and the law firm’s stubborn human resources assistant refuses his clerical support request. What’s a warlock to do on Christmas Eve but go on a 1-Night Stand? But when an oddly familiar empath shows up as his date, this ice mage has a hard time denying the magic of the winter solstice.

Faced with an anemic employment market and financial woes, college graduate and former witch Mina Mao lands an HR assistant job at Frost and Sons. Having spent her day saving Christmas from Frost Junior’s Grinch-like behavior, she accepts the gift of Madame Eve’s service and heads over to the Castillo Capital. When her date turns out to be her childhood crush and workplace nemesis, she braces herself for the sexiest icy ride of her life.

Excerpt

“So the guy seriously had a boner? That’s so messed up.”

Mina rolled her eyes at their joint reflection. “I know, right? And since I’m an empath, I could sense him getting, you know, all hot and bothered. Whoever he was fantasizing about, she turned him on big time. I don’t know how he could think about sex when he’s on the verge of exploding from too much unused magic.”

Sweets snorted. “Men—warlocks or human—they care about one thing.” She picked up a handful of Mina’s hair. “Ready?”

Mina swallowed. “Are you sure you know what you’re doing?”

Using the scissors, Sweets pointed at the set of combs and razors peeking out from a battered leather sleeve. “Can’t you feel the mojo rolling off my grandmother’s enchanted tools? These babies are idiot proof.”

Since not even her cousin could squeeze her in after 3:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Mina’s options had been limited enough to make her take a gamble. “But you have done this before?”

Patting her shoulder, Sweets bent at the waist and squinted one eye. “I cut Shelley’s hair all the time. She hates leaving the house, remember? Okay, yours is too long. You need to stand so I don’t get a backache.”

This idea seemed worse by the minute. Rising to her feet, Mina made a pinching motion with her index finger and thumb. “All I need is for you to take off the ends—nothing fancy.”

Her friend’s mock salute didn't bolster Mina’s confidence. “Your hair is safe with me. Your head is another story.”

Mina closed her eyes. “Very funny. Do it already, will you? The anticipation is killing me.”

She heard a snip, followed by “Oh, wow.”

Her lids snapped up. “What do you mean, ‘Oh, wow’?”

She saw the answer for herself. Scissors and razors slashed around unguided in the air, slicing off huge chunks of her tresses in the process. Her friend stood several steps away, staring at the spectacle as if seeing the phenomenon for the first time. Since moving risked impact with pointy magical objects, Mina glared at the culprit’s reflection in the mirror. “I thought you said you’d done this before.”

Sweets’s expression lacked any hint of guilt. “Okay, I lied. Shelley’s grandmother is the actual owner of these puppies, and she always uses them on herself in the bathroom. Since her hair turns out fine, I figured they’d work on you, too.”

Her hands fisting, Mina hissed, “How do you turn the darn things off?”

Author Bio/Special Note:

~A Letter From Tara Quan~

    Dear Reader,

Thank you for picking up the second book in my paranormal series, A Witch’s Night Out. I've always been a huge fan of witches and their feline friends, and I've had loads of fun creating my own. I keep my stories lighthearted, the angst to a minimum, and the sex just hot enough to make your face grow warm. In all my romances, I aim for a few laughs, a handful of clever twists, and a scorching happily ever after.

After Jack Frost appeared in Flirting with Fire as the hero’s best friend, I couldn't wait to tell his story. This warlock is the quintessential bad boy, whose abrasive personality and command over ice masks a soft spot for his firm’s human resources assistant, cat familiar and empath Mina Mao. To get these two clueless lovers together, Madame Eve works her magic so this modern day prince can sweep his witch off her feet in his white Lamborghini on Christmas Eve.

If I managed to keep a smile on your face for the past few hours, then my goal as a writer is met. I love hearing from readers, so feel free to drop me a line at taraquan@outlook.com. You can find out more about my other books and various social media haunts at www.taraquan.com.

A Muse Gone Rogue; Book One in the Dark Muse Series by Kacey Mark. A Paranormal Dark Erotic Contemporary Romance.

Blurb

When a demonic attack leaves one child without a mother, Marie Durrant throws out her predictable lifestyle to become the little girl's nanny.

It’s a big enough step for the virtual shut in, but even more difficult when Marie becomes inexplicably attracted to the mysterious widowed father, who happens to be the most powerful muse west of Mt. Olympus.

Quenton Blake is an extra hunky, extra irritated immortal, cursed to seek out those desperate for inspiration and feed on their souls. There wasn’t anything wrong with saving Marie’s soul for dessert, but his sweet tooth has a way of overriding his good judgement.

Excerpt

The dim glow from the study bounced off the mirrors and the stainless steel stripper pole in the corner. Just enough light to navigate the furniture without bumping into anything. The air grew thick and humid inside with the spicy tang of sex and cheap perfume.

Like one giant trophy case, it boasted countless odd shaped, metallic objects littering the floor and table tops, some of them still in their boxes. Sex toys, the thought occurred to her, as her eye caught a thin metal chain glinting in the mirror’s reflection.

She wrapped her arms around herself, not willing to touch what she couldn’t readily identify. Or anything she could, for that matter.

The plum silk bedding looked rumpled and pulled free on one side. It cascaded over the foot of the bed, partially melting over a large black chest. She knelt down, and after brushing the sheets away, tried to lift the lid.

Locked.

If Tobin was bold enough to store his toys in the open, she wasn’t sure she wanted to know what he hid under lock and key. She scanned the rest of the room but her surroundings were too dark to identify with much clarity. Maybe she could get back in here during the daylight and find a key to the chest.

She got to her feet and tried to pick her way out of the room. When she stepped on a ten-inch cylindrical object, it rolled. Her feet went out from under her, and her butt hit the floor with a bone-jarring thud.
The silver object rolled across the hardwood floor emitting a low buzzing noise until it tinged against the metal stripper pole at the far end of the room.

The guy’s got a flair for matching his accessories I’ll give him that much. She scrambled after the vibrator, put both hands around the beveled shaft, and fumbled for the switch to shut it off.

Ew.Ew. Ew!

She gritted her teeth, running her hands along the device until she found what appeared to be the switch. Hopefully it wasn’t the “go faster” button.

She flipped it and the buzzing died off, then she flung it toward the bed and scrubbed her palms over her jeans.

She wanted to race back to her room but chickening out wasn’t an option. With the commotion, she’d get caught. And if she was already screwed, she wasn’t going to face Quenton’s wrath for nothing. She made a hasty pass into the second room where she found identical furniture and a neatly made bed. It was missing the chest and mirrors, making it seem smaller without all the reflections, more casual, and Quenton’s familiar scent lingered in the air around her.

Heat threaded through her veins at the thought of being in his room, knowing at any moment he could return to find her. Her impish thoughts cheered her on. Fueled by flames of excitement, they dance around in her mind as if coaxing him to materialize out of thin air.

She ran her shaking fingertips along the surface of his nightstand until she came in contact with the worn edge of a leather-bound book.

Good enough for now, she thought and tucked it under her arm.

Nearly home free.

She spun to the door but her breath caught in a gasp. Quenton’s massive silhouette slipped in front of her, and Marie braced herself against the doorjamb to keep from running into him.

A Dance Between Life And Death; 'A Dance With Death;' A Steamy M/F, Contemporary Romance by Louisa Bacio.

Blurb:

She’s a classic…

After recovering from an injury and uncertain of her future in the world of dance, ballerina Isabella treats herself to a dating service–some frolicking between the sheets before she decides what to do with the rest of her life is just the jeté her heart and mind needs.

He’s a bit more modern…

A successful music video choreographer, Raul is constantly surrounded by gorgeous dancers. But his life lacks a vitality and depth he needs to fuel his creative passion. He turns to a 1Night Stand to discover inspiration.

A dance between life and death…

When an accident threatens to cancel the evening of romance, Isabella and Raul will have to dance to a new beat. Can a dance with death change fate?

Excerpt:

If Raul had met Isabella before that moment, he would have remembered her. She moved with the gait of a lifelong dancer. Elegant. No wonder ballerinas were described with terminology such as a gazelle. He worked with pop stars and modern artists so often, he’d forgotten the beauty of the more simple pleasures. Isabella seemed to shun simple. She embodied grace, refined and fragile.

Where had that thought come from? Despite being in dance—way back in the day—and working as a choreographer and producer, Raul’s image of himself was tilted, off-centered. He lacked agility—an ogre, a brute who would break the porcelain figurine the minute he got her between the sheets. His hard-on raged at the thought of her lithe body stripped bare, wriggling beneath him. Oh, he’d have to go slowly and gently, but she’d scream his name before the night ended. He could use the little ego boost and extracurricular activity.

She watched him, and he grew tired of the stalemate. Time slipped away, too precious to waste on the monotony of hard feelings.

“You need to loosen up.”

She opened her mouth, a line creased her forehead, and he moved, kissing her.

Full lips. His arm slipped around her waist and held her firm against him. She squirmed in his embrace, but soon her lips became more pliant, she leaned into his body, and let out a soft moan.

“That’s more like it,” he said, releasing her. “We need to spend more time kissing than arguing. Deal?”

Eagle Dance, Legend of The Spirit Book 2; A Contemporary, Erotic, Paranormal M/F Romance by Mary Quast. Part of the 1Night Stand Series

Blurb

Dyami Schafer, a Native American from the Chippewa tribe, leads a lonely life due to his large size and unusual appearance. When his nesting instinct sets in, he turns to Madame Eve and 1Night Stand to help him find his spirit mate. Or at least a woman who accepts him as an eagle shifter.

Amanda Collins never stopped loving the Chippewa boy she knew from her childhood. Maybe a night with a Native American man will help her forget the past and let her move on with her life.

Sometimes, it’s necessary to take a step into the past before dancing into the future. With the help of Madame Eve, will the Spirit of the Eagle carry Dyami and Amanda?

Excerpt

She brushed the gray tips and white strands of hair that gave him such untamed nobility. With a finger, she traced his face from his temple to his jaw, across his lips, then scraping her nails along the fine hair under his chin. A man of his enormous size would be capable of great strength, and a gal could easily lose herself in his arms for more than one night. His gaze intensified under her scrutiny.

“What do you see when you look at me?” he asked and lowered his eyes. Sinfully long lashes brushed his cheeks.

She considered him to be the most gorgeous man alive. His eyes mesmerized her. Some would consider the unusual color to be eerie, but she saw a whirlwind of emotions, from pain to hope, drawing her into his soul. Did his unusual appearance cause issues and uncertainty in his life? Despite his intimidating frame, he exhibited control and gentle qualities in the tender way he’d held her when they danced and the way he’d admitted his soft spot for animals. In arms like his, a woman could find paradise in many ways.

She cupped his face and forced him to meet her gaze. “I see a handsome, mystical warrior from another world.”

“Handsome, huh? I think you need your vision checked. I am nothing more than a simple Chippewa from Michigan.” His mouth was inches from hers. “However, I can be magical and take you wherever you want to go.”

“Then dance with me,” she whispered.
