#YouAreNotAlone sincerely The #Supernatural and #HitRecord Family Are In Unison About #YouArentTheOnlyOne

The Supernatural Family Crisis Network- A Great Cause Created By Great People

As some of you may know, I have been a huge fan of the CW Network's tv show #Supernatural since 2008 when I was introduced or shall I say re-introduced it via the daytime re-runs of the show on the cable network #TBS.

Over time, I've had the chance to laugh, love and shed tears via the FB with other fans of the show (most of us women btw but that's a different story) when the characters suffered triumph or tragedy.

Anyways, the fans of Supernatural or aka The Supernatural Family have been made aware of the struggles that some of the actors have undergone when it comes to mental illness. Over time the cast and crew of Supernatural have been made aware of some of their fan's struggles with it as well and how the show, its cast and fans have given them a reason to keep going- even with a smile.  <3

I can say with all certainty it is not the joke that some movies and tv shows make it out to be. However with that being said, Misha Collins, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have gotten together in concert with Misha's charity Random Acts to form The Supernatural Family Crisis Support Network.

Here's an excerpt from an article in Vanity Fair about the Charity/Campaign:

“Supernatural’s” Misha Collins may be moonlighting as the devil on the CW hit, but that hasn’t curtailed his good deeds off-screen; the actor has partnered with co-star Jensen Ackles to launch a charitable t-shirt campaign called “You Are Not Alone,” which will fund the newly created SPNFamily Crisis Support Network — a fan-led community support system where trained fans can help other fans deal with depression, self-injury, and addiction.

Sales from the t-shirt campaign will help raise the funds needed to develop the community platform, train eligible fan volunteers to be crisis responders, and help get fans in crisis the help they need in their own communities...- Vanity Fair Online Laura Prudom

They've raised a lot of money to help fund the charity including the training of support personnel to help those in need of HELP.  They have raised awareness for this charity via a social media campaign called #YouAreNotAlone.  They've even made Tee Shirts with this slogan- sold here:

All proceeds from the sale of these shirts go directly to the Crisis Network.

I've loved and admired their campaign and the response to it.  But it got me thinking about another community of people also started and gathered around another celebrity committed to bringing people together by tv and movie actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

His online community HitRecord is a ground up platform where creatives can come together to share their work with others to create or admire others' work from afar.  Recently their efforts have been featured on tv on the Pivot Network and in Joseph's feature films- whereas this community is also a ground up Production company that has provided high end content for the back end work for the dvd's for the movies that Joseph has starred in as well as stuff for Canon, The National Park Service along with other commercial ventures that have been shown on national and international television.

Anyway, they produced a song that was created, produced, sang by and featured Joseph Gordon-Levitt along with other members of the #HitRecord family.  The song was featured prominently in their tv show HitRecord on TV on Pivot that was made for season one of the tv show which was all about the number 1.

The theme of the tv show wasn't about being on top as in I'm Number One!  Or We're Number 1! But about being the first or solitary person-- in this case the only one.

So when I saw the campaign by the #Supernatural Family to support those in emotional crisis by saying "You Are Not Alone," I thought about the HitRecord's Family similar theme about the number 1.

They're song is "You're Not The Only One" made me think about Supernatural's desire to say- not only that You Are Not Alone in this and You're Not The Only One- as HitRecord family says- too.

Below is the video to the Song- You're Not The Only One by #HitREcord on TV in season 1 on PivotTV

This is song is dedicated to everyone who has thought they were alone in this.  And that they were the only one.  You're not.  There is 8 billion people on this planet and believe me "You're Not The Only One."

Enjoy with love from me and the #HitRecord #Family.
