First, 2 questions--where did you go to school in Boston? And what do you teach? I'm interested, having spent way too much time in the academic world.<br /> Second, a comment: I too loved biographies as a child--devoured them. I think they are a remarkable educational tool--you learn about how an individual can change his/her environment plus you learn so much of the culture & history in which that person walked.<br /> Third: First novel: locked in drawer. In my case my ex tossed the draft (NOT on purpose). Sigh.<br /> Fourth: Research: I know an artist where I work (Torpedo Factory Art Center) who actually specializes in medieval undergarments as art.
